Tourism Spotlight

For April, we have decided to give a "Thank You" to our local officials.  Without support from our county government, Greenup County Tourism would not exist.  Tourism requires support from elected officials, city and county  leaders, and influential residents for success.  We have such a wonderful place to call home and, I know, that we are doing all we can to make sure everyone can enjoy Greenup County.

Greenup County is unique, in that, we have beautiful natural resources, infrastructure, and the ability to grow in a positive way.  With the support we have from our officials,  tourism can be at the forefront of our development and growth.  Just think of the possibilities we have for attractions and tourism destinations on the Industrial Parkway and on the AA Highway.  Whether it's the new horse camping @ Greenbo, improvements to our county roads, or just listening to proposals for new attractions, our local government has stepped up to support us.  One thing in particular that we boast, that some cannot, is our acreage.  We have the room for growth that some areas do not have.  Judge Carpenter and the fiscal court, always listen to our suggestions and they are always there when we need advise.  If you see them, thank them.  Tourism in Greenup County continues to progress thanks to our local leaders.

We have added new pictures of local events! Check out the "Photos" tab located in the "More" section above!
