NEW DIVE PLATFORMS ARE IN PLACE @ GREENBO
Big thanks goes out to Rodney Mullanix and local divers for assisting us with the creation and placement of dive platforms. These new platforms located at the scuba refuge (behind Jesse Stuart Lodge) will allow divers easy access in and out of the water and assist with dive training. We are also proud to announce that we hosted a group of divers from Dayton, OH for training. Greenbo has also been visited by Dive Training Magazine this summer. The word is getting out that Greenbo is a great place to dive. Our hope is that more opportunities to offer certifications will follow this recent publicity.

Shop local. Its a saying you have heard before. Small businesses are the life blood of small communities and rural areas. The folks that operate small companies are proud citizens that are working to improve quality of life for their area. We here in Eastern Kentucky are fortunate to have such wonderful small businesses and their great owners. Events that we hold here in Greenup County are reliant on these type of businesses for support and contributions. For the business, its an opportunity to promote themselves. For the event, its a matter of success or failure. Whether its the fair, music events, 5-k races, or car shows, organizations must have support from the local community. Take time to explore the shopping opportunities that are right here at home. Downtown Greenup, Russell, Flatwoods, Raceland, and South Shore boast some awesome local shops. With continued support from shoppers, we can work toward opening more stores and restaurants right here at home.
WE WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS OUR THANKS TO ALL LOCAL BUSINESSES FOR WHAT THEY DO!
