fieldstone lodge at this beautiful resort is named in honor of Jesse
Hilton Stuart, (1906-1984) Poet Laureate and native of Greenup County.

A new community swimming pool is sure to be a hit with both adults and children
in searching for ways to beat the summer heat. Kids love our new water slide
and the children's area with a rain tree, while the lake holds special appeal
for anyone interested in fishing, canoeing or skimming the lake in a motor
boat.
Lodge
Enjoy the view at the Jesse Stuart Lodge. Most of the 36 rooms feature private
patios and balconies overlooking beautiful Greenbo Lake.
Rooms are available by late afternoon.
Check-out by noon Eastern time.
Dining Room
The Jesse Stuart Lodge has a 232-seat dining room where you can experience
our new restaurant, Anglers' Cove, offering
the finest in courteous service and Kentucky cuisine for breakfast, lunch,
and dinner. Check out the famous Seafood Buffet, a local favorite!
Camping and RV
Enjoy the great outdoors at the Greenbo Lake campground. The campground
features 63 sites with utility hook ups and 35 primitive sites. Two dumping
stations, two central service buildings with showers and rest rooms, and
a grocery store guarantee camping convenience.
- Camping rates are $18 per night for 2 adults.
Each additional person over 16 years of age $3 per night.
No advance reservations accepted.

Fishing, Boating & Swimming

Fishing
Cast away your cares at Greenbo Lake! This 225-acre lake is home of two state
largemouth bass records! The lake also holds large bluegill, crappie, catfish,
and trout.

Marina, Boat Rental
Ahoy Mate! The boating enthusiasts in your family will love Greenbo Lake.
The marina, open April 1 - October 31, offers 65 open slips, rental pontoon
boats, row boats, canoes, and motor boats. No jet skis are allowed on lake.
The whole of the lake is idle only, and all boaters must observe no wake
speeds. Normal water level is restored after dam repair, and boats can
be launched from ramp. Fishing pier and boat ramp for launching boats are
open.

Swimming
A swimming pool adjacent to the lodge is for the exclusive use of lodge guests.
A newly-built community pool features a water slide and a children's area
with a rain tree. It's located next to the sunning beach (swimming is not
allowed in the lake). Community Pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day from 10 am to 6 pm.
There is an admission fee of $5 for adults and $4 for children.

- Miniature Golf
Perfect your putting on the 18-hole miniature golf course in the camping
area. Open April - October
- Nature Trails
The hiking trails provide the perfect opportunity to enjoy the scenery of
the beautiful Greenbo forest. Self-guided multi-use trails provide 25 miles
of easy to difficult hiking/mountain biking and horseback riding.
- Recreational Activities
Tennis and basketball courts are located in the park for guests' enjoyment.
We also have horseshoe pits. Sports equipment may be checked out by overnight
guests.
- Bicycle Rentals
Enjoy the beautiful park scenery bicycling on the paved roads of the park
and on mountain bike trails in the park. We offer rental mountain bikes
at the lodge. $ for bicycle rental.
- Planned Recreation
Daily summer activities and year-round special events for children and adults
are planned under the guidance of a trained recreation director.
- Picnicking & Playgrounds
The park has two picnic shelters in the beach area (with rest rooms), and
in the campground (without rest rooms). Picnic tables, grills and playgrounds
provide for hours of fun. $ for shelter rental.

Become a personal friend of Jesse Stuart, famous Kentucky author and poet.
Examine his works and personal mementos in the library and reading room located
in the lodge. Greenbo is the perfect place for your next meeting. The Greenup,
Carter, and Boyd Rooms each seat 100. The main meeting room can accommodate

For your shopping pleasure, visit the lodge gift shop featuring a large selection
